Never again ‘we’re out of bog roll’

04/06/2010

24 rolls!

Note the stand up loo roll holder down to its last roll….

As a student it was quite the norm rushing to the loo doing your business and then discovering there wasn’t any loo roll! Arrghhhhh!

And how many times have we visited a public loo only to find many many ladies have passed by before and emptied out all tissue available. Arrghhhh!

And when you’re new to the housekeeping lark? Not quite got your hand on the how many rolls do we need etc? and your other half shouts from the carsey  ‘get us some more bog roll I’ve finished this one!’ Arrghhhh!

Well fear no more, Asda have come up with this massive 24 roll pack that  will keep you going long enough to remind yourself you need more. You’ll be bored of the pack lying around needing to be stored somewhere but you will have the luxury of never ending toilet tissue.

Another great Whooley tip for you to keep!

For the perfectionist – I always hang my loo roll with the paper hanging out towards the user, as in the luxury hotels who even roll back the corner.

This post has been written for Brighton Mum – Teenage Angst for a giggle on a Friday night, pop over see the others and have a laugh yourself

When I was little (many years ago) we lived in a flat and shared the bog ( which was in the garden, with the family upstairs) The loo paper Izal squares ( something like greaseproof paper ) was replaced by each family alternately. Can you imagine me going finding no paper and calling out only to be told it was upstairs turn to provide the next one, Oh well newspaper again !!!

I remember Izal sqaures…I’m sure we had them in school, very uncomfortable, thank Heavans we’ve moved on from those!

Now the loo roll is sorted the only question is … scrunch or fold? 😉

I’m a scrunch girl whereas Paul is a fold man, makes for frequent lively debates!
