I have decided to give Jenny Matlock’s Saturday Census a go this week. You are given a prompt and you only have 25 words, you can write a poem, fiction or fact – whatever but you must not exceed 25 words. Here’s my first go, the prompt has been highlighted
The Lottery ticket of numbers dreamt over a year ago lay teasing before them, hinting of a future until now enjoyed only in their imagination.
