Lifeplan

Everyone has ideas of what they’d like to accomplish in a certain period of time. Where you’d like to be in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years time and so on.

Updating for 2011

  • Find a job that allows me to work from home as the girls start pre-school in September
  • Complete my 365 project, one photo every day for one year
  • Try to find time for Twitter and the blogging community
  • Complete needlework project
  • DIY – complete the girls bedroom and the guest room

This is what I’d like to accomplish in 2010

  • Family – a house move to a 4 bed with our own drive and garage and a larger garden
  • Career – to finish writing my book and get an agent and hopefully get it published
  • Finance – to be able to enjoy life freely without having to worry about if we have enough or not.
  • Body – I want to lose weight about 3/4 kilos and tighten up my twin tum to lose the muffin top effect 🙂

In 5 years time

  • Family – If another baby should come along I would be very happy, as mad as that may seem, but it’s true. Paul doesn’t want this so it’s highly doubted. Other than that to be in a happy place
  • Career – I would like to be a successful writer who maybe by now is well known and writes a column or articles on a regular basis
  • Finance – I’d like in 5 years time to be wealthy.
  • Body- to be healthy and fit

    March 2010 update.

    Family – still haven’t got anywhere with the house sale but fingers firmly crossed. We’ve now lost out on two properties that we had offered on and won’t be offering anywhere until we have an offer on our place.

    Career – Haven’t got very far with book, I’ve had two people read the first chapter and it needs rewriting in their opinion. Have made a start at rewriting, but still a long way to go yet

    Finance – still not rich! Although I had my first Euro Lottery win, a whopping £6.20 with two numbers and one lucky star! It’s a start…

    Body – Rollercoaster, lose three pounds put four on, lose two put two on. On the plus side I have gone to the gym on a relatively regular basis when the girls are well. Still not near my ideal yet

    April 2010 0nly just come out of hibernation. Your plans sure woke me up. Right now we need to have a big win on lotto to put my ideas into action.You will be included if we do ! Good luck with the house move.

    July 2010 update

    We’ve moved!
    And that covers point one. We have now been living in our 4 bed with it’s own garage and a larger garden for just over 3 weeks. I have unpacked all of the boxes and found homes for all our bits (some in the bin!) and now we have the mammoth task of decorating the whole house which I shall blog as we do.

    The move also helped me lose 3lbs which is a start on point 4. Yoohoo!

    Next step – win the lottery 😉

    fyi, I have that twin tummy as well (had twins two years ago, and a singleton 4 years ago). There is only so much you can do with the skin but I just recently got very successful with cutting white “bad” carbs (white rice, white bread, white pasta, white sugar, potatoes, etc) and lost 7 pounds easily! I eat lots of nuts, beans, and veggies. (I do work out once or twice a week as well). Anyway, thought this might give you inspiration!

      Thank you mum abroad! I do try hard, I eat salads for lunch and Fruit and Fiber for breakfast, smaller portions for diner but it’s the weekends that ruin me!
      Tummy goes up and down with my cycle too. I’m overall happy but it’s still a workin progress 🙂

    October 2010 – update

    House is coming along nicely and in a couple of weeks our new bathroom should be completed as is the lounge. Next project will be the girl’s bedroom/playroom.

    Career – I published my first chapter a while back on Mari’s world and it was received well, it’s now time to write chapter 2

    Finance – We have now spent most of the extra cash we had on house improvements and so from now on we’ll have to be very careful.

    Body – I managed to put on all the weight I lost back in June so I’m back to square one. I have caught a couple of flu viruses off the girls which I haven’t had for years and they reaaly weakened me, I was surprised by how much, are the bugs tougher or am I weaker? Other than that I am relatively healthy but not very fit 🙂
